What is Opus Plasma?
Opus Plasma by Alma Laser is a minimally invasive device that combines radiofrequency with microplasma energy to create micro channels in the skin to jumpstart collagen production and rejuvenate the skin. Opus Plasma is the first fractional plasma device on the market. Patients see similar results to an ablative treatment with significantly less downtime and full area treatments can be completed in as little as 10-15 minutes. Results are visible after one treatment, with optimal results after a completed series of treatments. This treatment is also safe for darker skin types and can be completed year round.

What Can I Expect From a Treatment Session?
We recommend doing topical numbing for 30 minutes to an hour prior to the procedure. The treatment procedure time ranges from 20-30 minutes depending on the size of the area being treated. During the procedure patients can expect to experience mild to moderate discomfort and will have a warm sunburned sensation when leaving the office. Patients will have mild to moderate swelling over the next 1-2 days depending on treatment intensity with scaling and redness for a few days post procedure up to a week. This treatment is tunable in energy and depth depending on downtime alloted by the patient.
