Forever Clear BBL™ - Acne Treatment
What is Forever Clear?
Forever Clear Broad Band Light (BBL) therapy is a non-invasive acne treatment. This light-based therapy treats the root of the cause of acne breakouts by targeting the sebaceous glands and removing acne-causing bacteria without creams or medications.
Forever Clear is commonly applied to the face, chest, back or buttocks to help reduce active acne flares, redness and inflammation of the skin. This treatment is often recommended in a series for optimal outcomes.
What Can I Expect From a Treatment Session?
Before your Forever Clear treatment your provider will place goggles on your eyes and a gel on your treatment area. This gel allows the light energy to uniformly penetrate each layer of the skin. A series of pulses will then be repeated over the treatment area. A mild heat sensation will be experienced by the patient during the treatment. Most sessions will take less than 30 minutes. Some patients may experience mild redness immediately following their treatment session, but will return back to normal over the next hour and all normal activities can be resumed the same day.
